Among his many legislative accomplishments, Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy was one of the co-sponsors of the "No Child Left Behind" educational initiative. He later stated that President Bush failed to properly fund the program, among other criticisms.
Funding for education has clearly suffered under an administration that has pursued an unnecessary and outrageously expensive war in Iraq combined with unjustifiable tax cuts for the wealthy. Two signs above from the Republican National Convention show us what happens when education is underfunded–despite the professed concern of George Bush, who once asked, "Is our children learning?"

Makes one wonder why these folks support "English Only" initiatives.
That way, they'd be forced to learn it themselves.
I'd send them back to English composition. Perhaps they'd learn to check their spelling and not write down false statements on what their candidate stands for and who he is.
