Obama Speaks On Economic Priorities In First Address As President-Elect

Barack Obama will be releasing his weekly address, as president-elect and as president, on the radio and the Web.

How refreshing, in this first address, to hear the president-elect speak about "long-term investments that we've neglected for too long." The investments include rebuilding our infrastructure, developing a green energy economy and extending health care to all.

Here's something to remember on Thanksgiving: after eight disastrous years under the Bush administration, we finally have a president who's focused on the priorities of the American people.
