New Bill Would Nullify Loveless Marriages

The Onion News Network reports on Minnesota's controversial new Purity of Marriage Act, which would nullify loveless marriages. Governor Tim Pawlenty (R-MN) stated, "I believe the definition of marriage is a union between two people who love each other. To allow people who are constantly bickering or haven't touched each other in years to wed would undermine the institution of marriage." Loveless couples, who comprise 53% of the state's married population, are conducting protests in the belief that "All couples have a right to be married, not just those who can stand each other's company."
