Rep. Grayson: Fox Pundits Will Profit From The Bush Tax Cuts They Advocate

Representative Alan Grayson (D-FL) lost his reelection bid, but I honor him as an actual fighting, progressive Democrat. Grayson gave us the most pointed summary of the Republican health care plan: "Don't get sick! And if you do get sick, die quickly!" He's going out swinging, as evidenced by a statement on the House floor pointing out how well the conservative punditry, mostly on Fox, will do if the Bush tax cuts are extended to the wealthiest Americans. If this is not by design, it's surely a fortunate coincidence for Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity, O'Reilly and Palin, plus Gingrich and Bush, that the tax cuts they advocate will benefit them so handsomely. As he has previously, Grayson points out how tax cuts for the rich have not created jobs and suggests that instead the money be used to employ three million Americans (a transcript is available via Mediaite).
