Bush's Daughter Makes Video Backing Gay Marriage

As president, George W. Bush backed a constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriages. That makes the video made by his daughter Barbara Bush all the more praiseworthy and significant. She endorsed gay marriage as part of the New Yorkers for Marriage Equality series produced by the Human Rights Campaign, a national gay rights group. Barbara Bush joins other daughters of prominent Republicans, including Meghan McCain and Mary Cheney, in backing marriage equality. Watch:

Barbara Bush: “I'm Barbara Bush, and I'm a New Yorker for marriage equality. New York is about fairness and equality. And everyone should have the right to marry the person that they love. Join us.”

Hey Jeff! Haven't been by in while. Glad to see you're still doing your thing.

In regards to the post: Bush is kinda cute. I wonder if she'd support equal marriage rights for me and her?

Hi Charles!

Good to hear from you again.

Yes, Barbara Bush is attractive and apparently smart. Remember: nothing ventured, nothing gained--so make your move!
