Israeli Video Mocking Qaddafi Goes Viral Across Arab World

A video mocking Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi, created by Israeli journalist, musician and Internet buff Noy Alooshe, has become a YouTube hit across the Arab world. Alooshe based it on Qaddafi’s speech in which he pledged to hunt the opposition “inch by inch, house by house, home by home, alleyway by alleyway.” Set to the music of “Hey Baby” by American rappers Pitbull and T-Pain, Alooshe’s song is titled “Zenga-Zenga” after Qaddafi’s use of the Arabic word for alleyway, zanqa. The following original version features a scantily-clad dancing woman; Alooshe, who promoted his video online to young Arab revolutionaries, also created a version without the dancer following requests that he provide one that viewers can show to their parents.
