GOP Rep Flees From Question About Minimum Wage

Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI), a Tea Party supporter, avoided a question from a Vietnam veteran about raising the minimum wage. Duffy has voted to privatize Medicare, defended tax cuts for the rich and complained about his $174,000 salary. Watch as the Republican Congressman gets in his car and drives off while his constituent tries to speak about those who earn much less:

CONSTITUENT: Mr. Duffy, when are you going to hold your next town hall meeting?

DUFFY: We said we’re going to do one every year, and we’ve done that. So if you want to come set up an appointment in my office, we’d be happy to have you come on by.

CONSTITUENT: What I’d like to know is there's a law to raise the minimum wage… [Duffy drives off] (h/t: Think Progress)
