Akin Compares Criticism Of His Comments To Beheadings

Missouri senatorial candidate Todd Akin (R) recently spoke at a St. Louis conference under the auspices of the Eagle Forum's Phyllis Schlafly, who supports him. Akin, who had caused a national uproar with comments that "legitimate rape" victims rarely get pregnant, said that he faced greater consequences than Bill Clinton, who was "accused of doing something wrong as opposed to saying something wrong." He then compared the criticism he received with being beheaded, stating, “We see that all the time with [what] the Islamists pull out on us: we’re offended so we’re going to cut your head off slowly.” Watch Akin feel sorry for himself as a victim of "political correctness":
