NRA Releases Despicable Web Ad About Obama's Daughters

The NRA reached a new low with a despicable web ad that focuses on President Obama's daughters to launch a political attack. The ad calls Obama an "elitist hypocrite" for being skeptical about armed guards at schools while his daughters have Secret Service protection. The Secret Service, of course, is authorized to protect the president and his immediate family. In addition, Obama's skepticism, as expressed on "Meet the Press," is entirely reasonable. He said, “I am skeptical that the only answer is putting more guns in schools. And I think the vast majority of the American people are skeptical that that somehow is going to solve our problem.” Indeed, there was an armed guard at Columbine High School, where 15 were killed and 23 wounded in 1999. Watch the ad, which further exposes the NRA as a fringe, extremist organization:

Traditionally the children of presidents have been off-limits to politicalization. The NRA has broken all rules of decency. The real shame is that I am not at all surprised,

Right, no surprise there at all.
