Video: "Stop-And-Frisk: The High School Senior"

The New York Police Department's stop-and-frisk program disproportionately targets young blacks and Hispanics; the vast majority of those stopped are innocent, and claims that the program is effective in fighting crime are dubious. A recent trial examined the constitutionality of stop-and-frisk, but there's little consensus on solutions even if Judge Shira A. Scheindlin, who has criticized the program, rules against the Police Department. Communities United for Police Reform has launched a video series showing the impact of stop-and-frisk.
