Saturday Night At The Liberal Curmudgeon: The Zombies Live

The Zombies, one of the original British Invasion bands, played their 1964 jazz-tinged hit "She's Not There" in Metropolis Studios, West London, January 2011. The performance included founding members Colin Blunstone, vocals, and Rod Argent, keyboards.

I recently got to see Colin Blunstone at the Boulton Center in Bay Shore. He's still in great voice and there is a new album out here (recorded in 2012), call 'On the Air Tonight'. In 2011, The Zombies released a reunion album 'Breathe Out, Breathe In'. Colin is truly one of rock 'n' roll's great vocalists.

Yes, and he hasn't gotten the recognition he deserves. Neither has Rod Argent as a keyboardist. I suggest a Zombies retrospective on Saint James Infirmary.
